Sexual offences in Mauritius have continued to rise since 20131. Between 2012 and 2013, the number of reported sexual offences increased by 29% from 455 to 588.

A. INTRODUCTION
This project aims at enhancing understanding and importance of gender equality to men, ensuring their effective participation and involvement in family wellbeing, meeting specific male sensitive needs and concerns, especially with regard to their sexual and reproductive health, and at promoting equal opportunities to men and women in the development process.

The Specific Objectives of the project are inter alia to:
· Foster Constructive Male Involvement in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and ,
· Encourage Men’s Positive Engagement as Fathers and Carers,
